CENG/BILM 497/498 Senior Design Project

Now you are ready for graduation!!! Thus it is time for doing some nice projects as graduation gifts.

Read the course information (Spring) before get started.

Projects will be presented on June 22, 2009 starting at:10:00. Check your groups/jury members and location for spring semester

We will have a calendar for the senior projects and you will see the upcoming events from this calendar. Therefore we can finish our jobs on-time. You are supposed to obey the rules below in order to have a better understanding of each other.

Calendar:

Tentative Schedule(subject to changes)
• Monday, April 6: Project Titles should be submitted to Zeynep Orhan by 5PM for CENG/BILM 497 (e-mail only).
• Monday, April 20: "Senior Design Project Report" to Zeynep Orhan by 5PM for CENG/BILM 497 (e-mail only).
Submit form with project description and outline.
• Friday, June 19: "Final Written Reports" to Zeynep Orhan and jury members (e-mail only) and advisor(hard copy) by 5PM for CENG/BILM 497/498. Final reports must be bounded and a copy of the all materials must be submitted on a CDROM on the day of due date.
• Monday, June 22: "End-of-the-Semester Project Presentations"
Make a (10) minute presentation on the progress/results of your project.

Rules:

You will have a progress report, presentation and submit a final report during this semester.
The presentation will be about your coding.
Final report will be a detailed explanation of all the work you have done so far.
The presentations will be prepared by Powerpoint or something equivalent.
Attendance for the weekly meetings is obligatory. If your attendance is below 70% you will fail directly!!!
Provide your e-mail adresses, otherwise you may not receive some of the announcements related to the senior project
Your final grade will be determined by considering your attendance, presentations, reports, coding etc.
