My research interests are fairly broad in nature. However, the bulk of my research has been related to GIS, urbanization and transportation. Althoguh not techinically research, I worked as a transportation planner and a public transportation manager for approximately 10 years before entering graduate school for a Masters' and Ph.D. This knowlege and experience has greatly influenced my research as an academician. Currently I am invoved in resaerch concerning watershed modeling, GIS usabiliyt and distance learning.
