Augmented reality (AR) research deals with combining real world with computer generated data in order to increase the human awareness about the environment. AR research involves two types of AR technology: Optical see-through and video see-through. It also includes the use of motion tracking data, fiducial marker recognition using machine vision, and the construction of controlled environments containing any number of sensors and actuators. More information coming soon.
